Mattie Marie Pruitt-Brown, 69, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed on December 1, 2014. She is survived by her six children; James (Kenyetta) Glenn, Gordon-Jeff (Nicole) Brown, Kelly (Anthony) Archie, Bryan (LaKesha) Galmore, LaShonda Galmore and Shawn Galmore; She also leaves has seven other loving children she assisted in raising; Flora Burns, Diane (Cedric) Martin, Shirley (Derrick) Holbert, John (Wanda) Galmore, Shontay Strong, Beatrix Strong, William Strong; special friend, John Galmore Jr.; three sisters, Lydia (Joe) Willis, Minnie Bell Redmon, and Shirley Burnett; four brothers, Charlie (Robin) Pruitt, Cecil (Lynn) Woodman, Samuel Pruitt and Lloyd (Tammy) Pruitt; 53 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mattie Pruitt-Brown will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Pleasant Hill CME Church, 3801 East 38th St., Little Rock, AR. Rev. Norvell Gooley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at P.K. Mortuary, Little Rock, Ark. Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Springlake Cemetery.
