Rodney Dale Stephens

Rodney Dale Stephens, 58, of Little Rock, Ark., beloved husband to Audrey Stephens and father of Angela Hoover and Tiffany Barnard, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2014 surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved. He was predeceased by his sister Glenda Stephens and his brother, Gerald, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War in 1969. He was also predeceased by his parents Glenn and Artell Stephens and his granddaughter Jayci Hoover. He is survived by Jo Ann Mata of Apple Valley, California, James Stephens of Fort Payne, Alabama, and Barbara Pate of Langley Arkansas He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He served 18 years in the Army National Reserves. He worked as a Structural Mechanic on aircraft at Dassault Falcon Jet and Rockwell International. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering, fishing, and camping. A wake service will be held at the Mountain Harbor Resort East Cove Pavilion on Saturday, December 13, 2014 beginning at 2 p.m. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300.
