Harold Edward Johnson

Graveside services for Harold Edward Johnson will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2014 with Dr. Wilton Wall officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville. The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Mr. Johnson, 81, Originally of Tomberlan, Arkansas, now residing in Deville, Louisiana formerly of Jonesville and Natchitoches passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Life Care Hospital, Ruston. He was a retired farmer and active in the community of Jonesville for 20 years. Mr. Johnson was the former owner of Sid's Flowers and Greenhouse in Natchitoches, and was a past member of the Natchitoches Kiwanis. Mr. Johnson proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia McNeill Johnson; parents, Robert and Mildred Johnson of England, Arkansas. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Patrick Johnson and wife, Shelly; daughters, Melanie Alwell and husband, C.B., Millie Burnum and husband, Joel; brother, Orelan Johnson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be C. B. Alwell, Jr., Joel Burnum, Jay Woods, Ryan Richard, Joe Burnum, and Patrick E. Johnson.
