REV. JERRY DEAN EBSEN, 71, of Mabelvale passed away Dec. 18, 2014. Born in Little Rock to Ervine and Thelma Mullenax Ebsen, he was a respiratory therapist at the Veterans Hospital and following retirement, he became a minister and a volunteer chaplain at the Wrightsville Prison Unit. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Larry Ebsen, he is survived by his wife, Iris Ebsen; son, Ty Ebsen and wife, Tammy of Little Rock; daughter, Tammy Pope and husband, Mark of Hensley; siblings, Randy Ebsen, Jo-Dell Stone and Brenda Ebsen and grandchildren, Kyle, Bryce and Ryan Ebsen. Visitation will be today, Sunday, Dec. 21 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services with Military Honors will be Monday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Tony Minick. Interment will be Tuesday, Dec. 30 at noon at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the Wrightsville Prison Chapel Fund, P.O.
