Robert M. Wetzler

ROBERT M. WETZLER, 73, of North Little Rock, passed away Dec. 19, 2014. He was born April 16, 1941 to the late Eugene M. and Reba Skinner Wetzler. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Linda Kay Wetzler. Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Lewis Wetzler; daughter, Wendy Byrne (Rickey) of North Little Rock; son, Wade A. Wetzler of Maumelle; grandchildren, Kayla Newman (Daniel), Cliff Prowse, Lindsey Byrne; great-grandchildren, Hadley Newman and Parker Osborne of North Little Rock; sisters, Carolyn Glover (Fred) of Cabot, Anita Allison (John) of Mount Vernon; and brother, Charles G. Wetzler (Dianne) of North Little Rock. He was retired from Powers of Arkansas. He graduated from North Little Rock High School and served in the Arkansas Air National Guard. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and was a founding member of Bearhouse Hunting Club. He was also a Master Mason. Bob loved bluegrass and country music and delighted in regular trips to Mountain View to listen to music. He was of the Baptist faith and was devoted to his family, enjoying nothing more than spending time with them. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, 2 Natural Resource Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205, or the Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Ark. 72203. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, at the Funeral Home.
