Bonnie Sue Fletcher

Bonnie Sue Fletcher, age 78, of Cabot went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014. She was born on April 21, 1936 in Caraway, Ark. to Albert and Pauline Payne. She worked as a book keeper for the Bunge Corporation and also West Memphis High School until retirement. She was a faithful member of the West Memphis Church of Christ for 47 years. Four years ago, she moved to Cabot to be near her immediate family. She was a member of the Cabot Church of Christ. Bonnie enjoyed baking bread and most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving and caring mother and a generous grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Payne. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Duel Fletcher; her daughter and best friend, Susan Thornton (and husband Ricky) and her son, Terry Fletcher (and wife Elaine). She is also survived by her mother, Pauline Payne; her brother, Bob Payne (and wife Norma) and her uncle, Marvin Higginbotham (and wife Judy). Grandchildren include Michele Marvin (and husband Nathan), Terence Thornton, Grant Fletcher and Stuart Fletcher. Great-grandchildren include Dane Marvin, Maksim Marvin and Jude Marvin. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, with Bill Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Ark.
