Jerry Donald Dixon

Jerry Donald Dixon, 71, a resident of Oakland formerly of Eudora passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, at his residence. Jerry was born July 30, 1943, in Eudora, Arkansas to William Tom "W.T." and Betty (Keene) Dixon. He was a retired banker, an avid golfer and loved animals. Jerry is preceded in death by his father. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Dixon of Oakland; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Andrea Dixon of Little Rock and Gregg Dixon of Southaven, Mississippi; his mother, Louise Dixon of Eudora; a brother, Tommy Dixon of Eudora; three grandchildren, Christian Dixon and Noah and Olivia Van Deventer. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the St. Paul Episcopal Church in McGehee with Father Van Windsor officiating. Burial will be private.
