Ralph William Edward Smith

Ralph William Edward Smith, 74, went to his heavenly home December 17, 2014. He was born October 27, 1940, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to William Hendley and Ruth Mildred (Rea) Smith. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary E. (Campbell); sons, Eric and Scott, both of Little Rock; daughters, Leslie (Michael) Romine of Sheridan and Leah (Charlie) Irvin of White Hall; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Dorothy Bernardi and Jeanie Kelsey; and many extended work, church family and loved ones. He was a retired driver from CareLink. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Sheridan, where the memorial will be officiated by Brother Gale Umholtz on December 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. The family requests that donations be made to Children's Hospital in his name rather than flowers.
