Robbie (Cox) Grace Cotton, 85, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away December 21, 2014. Robbie was born August 23, 1929 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to Bob Anderson Cox and Bettie Davis Cox. She was the fourth of six spirited sisters. Robbie obtained her B.S.E. at A&M College in Monticello and spent forty years as a teacher in the Harrison and St. Joe Public Schools. She was the Golden Goblin yearbook sponsor for many years at H.H.S. After her third retirement from education, she was determined to continue contributing for the greater good and was active in numerous scholarship and civic organizations, many of which she became president and went on to district and state offices. She was honored in 2012 by both the Harrison Chamber of Commerce for the Spirit of Boone County Community Service Award and the Women of Distinction. She was a vibrant member of the First Christian Church in Harrison and went on to become Deacon and an Elder of the church. Additionally, she was the force behind the Lunch Bunch, Etc. of which one had to admit to being at least 50 years old. Robbie loved her family, friends, shopping, Christmas, traveling, laughing and taking care of her grandpuppies, "Piper Ann" and "Happy". As a cancer survivor, she became a leader in the Look Good Feel Better support group. Robbie is survived by her daughters, Connie Grace of Little Rock and Lynn Witt of Branson, Missouri; one sister, Jean Simmons of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved "Pierre". She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Grace, and later, husband Hugh Cotton; sisters Marcelle Harris, Hazel Chandler, Helen Edwards, and in 2014, her youngest sister Janice Wiles. Honorary Pallbearers are, Charles Adair, Carl Bear, Bob Cash, Joe Chandler, Lloyd Grace, Rob Martin, Joe Simmons, Rodney Simmons, Greg Wiles, Paul Wiles and Everett Whitford. A memorial service will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church with a reception to follow.
