Rosalyn Pruitt Armstrong, aka Shirley Byrd, of Little Rock, Ark., made her transition to immortality on December 18, 2014. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and is survived by her mother, Mavis Posey; two sisters, Billie Smith and Mavis Jones; two brothers, John and Larry Reeves; three children, Roger Robinson, Casondra Jones and Charles Pruitt, Jr.; seven grandchildren, four great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The celebration of her life will be Saturday, December 27th, 11 a.m. at New Millennium Church, 21 Lakeshore Drive, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will be at Haven of Rest Cemetery and the repast will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Little Rock.
