Irene Ray Gangluff

The Lord took an angel home today. Irene Ray Gangluff, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, December 20th. Born on May 3, 1926, in Bunch, Oklahoma to parents Arch and Bertha Ray, she was married 64 years to Rudolph J. Gangluff. A loving wife and mother, Irene was a Registered Nurse, who retired from the VA in March, 1984. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind daughters Cecilia (Gerald) Lody and Cynthia (Richard) Waldron, son, Joseph (Pam) Gangluff, grandchildren Alex Waldron and Eric Gangluff, sister, Janice Lockard, brother, Beverly Ray. Special thanks go to Bessie Hardaway and her staff for their loving care. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Anne's Catholic Church. Visitation and Rosary will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
