DEACON THURMAN THEUS, 78, of Little Rock departed this life on Dec. 25, 2014. He was a deacon at Greater Second Baptist Church. He was a master mason. Deacon Theus was a father of four and truck driver for Colonial Bakery, retiring after 23 years. He never met a stranger and would help anyone. He sang in the GSBC Male Chorus and is affiliated with many clubs and committees for the church. After retirement, he then worked for Dreamland for four years. He was preceded in death by wife, Huetta Theus. He leaves to cherish memories children, Waldo(Tina) Theus, Stephanie Matlock, Ethel West, Angela (Julian) Rainey; grandchildren, Toyran Patrick, Reginald Theus, Antonio West, William Rainey, Edwin Matlock, Dominic Matlock, Jayla Rainey and Lapreia West; nine great-grandchildren and host of family and friends. Visitation: Friday, 12-6 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary, LR. Funeral: Saturday, 10 a.m. at Greater Second Baptist Church, Pastor David Featherstone officiating.
