Willie Bess "Billie" Dickens Johnston

WILLIE BESS "BILLIE" DICKENS JOHNSTON, born on Jan. 25, 1923 in Greenbrier to Molly Sims Dickens and James Walter Dickens, died Dec. 26, 2014. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church since 1958. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin M. Johnston, and daughter, Lisa Ann Johnston Cates. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Johnston Brooks and Cathy Johnston; three grandchildren, Bryan Scott Brooks, Whitney Elizabeth Brooks Williams and Emily Michelle Cates List; five great-grandchildren, Madison Alford, Reece Williams, Channing Williams, Noah Brooks and Avery Brooks and one sister, Betty Case of Conway. Special thanks to Dr. David Mego and Erin Barry of the Heart Hospital Clinic. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 N. Main St, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
