SHARON KAYE (HAMM) HANKINS was born on May 29, 1958 in Little Rock, Ark. and went to her heavenly home on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. She resided in Little Rock all her life. She was a member of the Nazarene Church, where she used her musical talents as a singer and a pianist. She sang solos and lead church music for most of her life. Sharon loved her family. She worked at Ragan Safe and Vault. She was her happiest being with her husband and best friend, Eric; her children and Charliey. She was very competitive and loved doing everything with 100% enthusiasm. She was a mean fisherman, bowler, golfer, game player and even competed in karaoke where she was always a winner. Her beautiful voice and musical talent was always focused on her love and strong faith in Christ. Sharon loved animals; her home has always included at least one sweet four legged friend if not more. She will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Janet Hamm; her grandson, Aryn Rhys Noble. She is survived by her husband, Eric Lee Hankins; son, Matthew Ryan Wylie and wife, Amy; daughter, Amanda DeAnn Noble and husband, Tim; granddaughter, Charliey Wylie; her sister, Dena Furton and husband, Shawn; her nephews, TJ Furton and Cameron Furton; her brother-in-laws, Stephen Hankins and Travis Taylor. In lieu of flowers, a fund is established at Tru Service Federal Credit Union for her granddaughter Charliey Dean Wylie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 from 6 to 8 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR 72002. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
