Francis Louis Beck, 92, of Little Rock, passed away December 29, 2014. Born in St. Vincent, Arkansas to Joe and Anna Zimmerebner Beck, he was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII, a sheetmetal worker for many years, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and gardening, and loved to fix things. He is survived by his wife of 64 1/2 years, Virginia Uekman Beck; sons, Raymond Beck of California and Dr. David Beck of Springdale; daughters, Brenda Schrock and husband, John of Alexander and Janis Winchester and husband, Don of California; four grandchildren, Melanie Leadley (Matt), Rachael Winchester, Jefferey Peel and Nathan Lee; and four great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the St. Vincent Visiting Nurses and Arkansas Hospice for the love and care they gave. Visitation will be Friday, January 2 from 4-6 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mark Wood on Saturday, January 3 at 11 a.m., preceded by the Rosary at 10 a.m., at St. Theresa's. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
