Emma Louise Grounds

Emma Louise Reece Grounds met her Lord and Savior face-to-face on January 29, 2014. Louise was born December 12, 1920 to Rev. Thomas and Margaret Reece in Bonham, Texas. She married Olen M. Grounds on December 16, 1939. They were married 47 years until his death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters. Louise is survived by her daughters, Jerry (Cecil) Yates, Sandy (John) Little, and Judy (Bill) Morris; her sister, Virginia Piott; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Louise was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock for over 50 years. Over those years, she impacted many lives teaching children and teens in Sunday school and other classes. She was currently a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway. The joy of her life was to be a Christian wife and mother. She was devoted to the love and care of all her family. She was a dear friend to many all throughout her years. The family greatly appreciates all the love and care given to Louise by her friends and caregivers at Emeritus at Trillium Park and Heritage Living Center in Conway, Arkansas.
