Wanda Jones McDaniel

WANDA JONES MCDANIEL, age 86, went to be with the Lord, Jan. 31, 2014. She was born May 20, 1927 in Weston, Mo. to Zachariah and Hope Jones. She was married to Earl McDaniel on March 21, 1945. She was preceded in death by husband of 65 years; parents; five brothers; and three sisters. Survived by children, Judy Prewitt (Charles) of Bryant; Roy McDaniel (Renee) of Paris, Ark., Jean Strawn (Charles) of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Chuck Prewitt (Yvette) of Bryant, Scott Prewitt (Renee) Bryant, Jeff Prewitt (Megen) of Ft. Smith, James Strawn (Elginia) Nevada, Mo., Michael Strawn (Melanie) of Maumelle, Steven Strawn (Shanda) of North Little Rock, Mandy McDaniel of Paris, Ark., Aaron Askins of Bella Vista; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Katelyn, Auston, Angelina, Bryant, Mona McDaniel of Paris, Ark., Dakota, AJ, Robbie Askins, Justin Prewitt, Brittany Styers, Lauren Prewitt, Jacob, Victoria, Austin, Ashton, Anden Strawn, Samuel and Micah Prewitt; great-great grandson, Jackson; nieces; nephews; and two sisters, Martha Van Sandt and Maxine Bliss of Leavenworth, Kan. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
