Linda Diane Stokes Bates

Linda Diane (Stokes) Bates went home to be with her Lord and Savior, February 2, 2014. She was born on December 23, 1951 in Monroe, Arkansas to Jack and Shirley (Grimes) Stokes. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Survived by her children: Pennie Martin (Roger) of Holly Grove; Jennifer Dixon (Joe) of Maumelle and Deven Peach of Sherwood;grandchildren Bryce Martin of Fayetteville; Drake Martin of Holly Grove; Nicholas Compton of Maumelle; and Harlee and Aiden Peach of Sherwood. Survived by her siblings: Randy Stokes of Ragtown; Nancy Hamilton of Rich Community; Freddy Stokes (Tammy) of Ragtown; Terry Stokes (Judith) of Marvel and Dana Smith (Tim) of Holly Grove and her significant other, Clyde Miller of Hardy. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Olive Hill Baptist Church, 14514 Chicot Road, Mabelvale, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Olive Hill Cemetery.
