Helen Geraldine Poe

Helen Geraldine Poe, 85, of Cabot died Monday, February 3, 2014 She was retired from Carrier Air Conditioning and A.M.F. Bicycle Factory. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sherwood and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and taking care of her dog, Teddy. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Poe Sr., two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lesa Poe of Cabot; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Stan Oliver of Austin, Pam and Larry McAllister of Benton, Karen and Barry Cruz of Jacksonville; one sister, Bobbye Fairless of Loveland, Colorado; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Greystone Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Southridge Village of Cabot. Funeral services will be held at 10: a.m. Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
