Gene Edward James

Gene Edward James Sr., 67, of Little Rock, Ark. died in his home on Thursday, January 30th. He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert T. James and Leona Elizabeth Bolden. He was born March 12, 1946 in Little Rock where he has been a life long resident. He is survived by his wife: Mattie Bell Williams-James; siblings: Barbara (Haston) Pulley, Robert (Doris) James and Larry James all of Little Rock; children: Williams Charles Cyrus of LR, Beneal Smith of Memphis, Tenn., Gene Edward James Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Kimberlee James of NLR, Ramonda James of Maumelle, and Lamont Ramirez of LR and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday February 7th at Moody Chapel AME Church. Open visitation at Premier Funeral Home on Thursday February 6th between 1-6 p.m..
