Laverne McNabb

Laverne McNabb, 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. She was a loving wife and mother, and was an active alumni for the School of the Blind. Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, George McNabb and father, Edward McClure. She is survived by two daughters, Nioka McNabb and Georgia McNabb of Little Rock, Arkansas, her mother, Stella McClure of Gurdon, Arkansas, two sisters, Barbara Monteith of El Dorado, Arkansas, Shirley Smithpeters, of Gurdon, Arkansas, one brother, Thomas McClure, of Hot Springs, Arkansas and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300, with Dr. Jim Daniels officiating Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Thorn Cemetery, in Greenbrier, Arkansas, family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
