Louise Moseley Corker

Louise Moseley Corker, age 80, of Monticello, Ark., formerly of Dumas and Johnsville, Ark. died Monday, February 3rd at the Drew Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7th 1934 in Rock Springs, Ark. (Drew County), a daughter of the late Preston Moseley and Thelma Wolfe Moseley. She was a bookkeeper for many years, was a housewife, homemaker and a member of Pauline Baptist Church. Mrs. Corker was very proud of being the oldest person to complete Faith training at Pauline Baptist Church and go spread Christian witness with the church group to people in the area. Also preceding her in death was her husband James L. Corker whom she married December 24, 1950 and he died March 23rd 2007. Survivors include two sons, James R. Corker and spouse Deborah, White Hall, Ark. and Gary Lynn Corker and spouse Rosileia, Santos Sao Paulo, Brazil.;two daughters, Sandra Norris, Monticello, Ark. and Charlotte Hughes and spouse Jim, Benton, Ark.d; a sister, Claudine Stedman, Warren, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, Bo Norris, Brandy Hampton, Lindsay Hillyard, Chris Hughes, Brian Hughes, Amanda Winter, Jennifer Harrison, Stephanie Phillips, Leticia Correia and Vanessa Correia.; four great-grandchildren, Coltin Hampton, Eli Hampton, Tebow Hampton, Madison Norris, Tristian Harrison and Nathaniel Winter. Funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, February 8th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6pm till 8pm Friday, February 7th at Frazer's.
