Freda Spangler age 90 of Little Rock passed away on Thursday February 6, 2014. She was born February 22, 1923 in Sharp County, Arkansas to Sam and Susie (Nichols) Bishop. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Spangler a veteran of WWII; two sisters, Effie Thurman and Verlie Hinchman. Survivors include one sister, Wanda Ring of Little Rock; three nephews, Jim Ring of Hot Springs Village, Del Ring of Little Rock and Randy Hinchman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five nieces, Sue Smith of North Little Rock, Joe Veazie of Bryant, La Gail Branham of Little Rock, Betty Jepsen of Rock Rapids, Iowa and Peggy Hinchman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a special friend, Mack McDonald of Denison, Texas; her traveling buddies, Maurice and Jeanett Toups; her neighbors, Ross and Pauline Marrow and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home located at 10200 Hwy. 5 North in Alexander with Maurice Toups officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
