Martha Elizabeth Coon

Martha Elizabeth Akins Coon, 71, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Thursday, February 13, 2014 after fighting cancer. She was born January 26, 1943 in Wynne, Arkansas. She worked for the Arkansas State Library. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, L. Conrad Coon, father, W.P. Akins and mother, W. Edna Grisham Akins. She is survived by her son, James E. Coon and wife, Ginger, daughter, Lois A. Hyatt and husband, James Hyatt, two granddaughters, Jennifer L. Coon and Sarah A. Hyatt; one brother, nieces, nephews on the Coon as well as Akins side and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 701 Country Club, Sherwood, Ark. 72120. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Easley Cemetery, Gurdon, Arkansas.
