Michael Joseph Gartrell Sr.

Michael Joseph Gartrell Sr., age 66, of Bentonville, died February 12, 2014. He was born in Eunice, Louisiana, on July 13, 1947, to Dewey and Ophelia Ann (LeJeune) Gartrell. He was a retired First Line Supervisor with Southwestern Bell Telephone. He served his country in the US Marine Corps in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Sue Gartrell; children, Lori Malone-Pelzel, Michael Joseph Gartrell, Jr. and wife Traci, Leah Gartrell and fiancé Rob Beiber; a sister, Paris Thomas; four grandchildren. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Bella Vista Church of Christ.
