James Charles Lewis

James Charles "Jim" Lewis, age 72, of Proctor, Arkansas, died Wednesday in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born September 12, 1941 in Griffithville to James Roe Lewis and Margarette Lucille Ray Lewis. Mr. Lewis worked as a print shop manager. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marycarle Lewis; one daughter, Erica Stubblefield and husband Allan of Collierville, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Carla Stork of Malabar, Florida; one step-son, Charlie Eaves of Southaven, Mississippi; one grandson, Ethan James Stubblefield; one step-grandson, Max Stork; one brother, Donald Lewis and wife Mary of Sanford, Florida; and many loving cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roe and Margarette Lewis. Visitation is Monday from 12: until 2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Interment will be at White County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the Jim Lewis Memorial Fund at Regions Bank in Searcy.
