John Gesner Reed

John G. Reed, Sr, age 88, of Pangburn died Wednesday, February 12, 2014. He was a retired Merchant Seaman and a Cattle Rancher. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Viola Reed, daughter; Mildred Woodson, sons; John Reed Jr., Rose Bud, Harold Reed and his wife, Janice of Greenbrier; sisters, Sadie Thibault and Loraine Ross of Saugus, Mass., and Betty Murphy of Peabody, Mass.; a brother, Malcom Reed of Epping, N.H.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Janice Marie Reed; brothers, George, Donald, and Sam; a sister, Dorothy Decaro.
