Jimmie Lee Jones Hollis

Jimmie Lee Jones Hollis, 94 of Fordyce, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. She was born March 30, 1919 in Eaglette, Ark. to the late Henry Owen "Boe" Jones and Mary Elizabeth Nutt "Mamie" Hollis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Truman Bailey Hollis; her daughter, Mary MacNichol; one brother; and two sisters. She was a member of the Fordyce United Pentecostal Church. She is survived by two sons, Truman Boe Hollis and wife Claudette of Alexandria, La., Jimmy Hollis and wife Patsy of Fordyce; two daughters, Relda Bordes of Folsom, La. and Wanda Adams and husband Ed of Fordyce; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Monday at Benton Cemetery near Fordyce.
