Irma Irene Fortune Carder

Irma Irene Fortune Carder, 77, of Batesville died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born Oct. 20, 1936 in Bethesda, Ark. the daughter of Elzie Fortune and Bertie Oden Fortune. She was a civil servant retiring out of Denver, Colo. Survivors include three sons, Charles Michael Bramble of Leonardtown, Md., Kelly Lee Bramble of Bold Springs, Ga., and Daniel David Bramble of Pottsboro, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Ann Maddox of Aurora, Colo.; a sister, Ima Jean Fortune of Pleasant Grove, Ark.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at her home at 156 Chamblee Drive in Batesville. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
