Perry Thomas Daniel

Perry Thomas Daniel, 94, of Conway, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014. He was born May 5, 1919 in Murray, Kentucky to Perry Delmar and Bessie Lee Daniel. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, a retired supervisor at SAS Shoe Factory, and member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hilda Daniel, son, T.J. Daniel, daughter, Gayle Whittington, and by seven siblings, Earl Daniel, Dallas Daniel, Bradley Daniel, Durie Daniel, Lucille Biggerstass, Dellmar Melton, and Rubye Daniel. He is survived by six grandchildren, Kristina Daniel of Conway, Barbara Gibby and Patsy Dickens of Vilonia, Hilda Gayle Daniel of Conway, Luke Mills of Little Rock, and Elizabeth Mills of Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy (Ike) Watkins of Baxter, Missouri and Inez Holder of Missouri; and by a special friend, Nell Grimes of Conway. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 20, at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
