Emma Sue Robertson went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2014. Sue, (MiMi to her grand and great-grandchildren) was a resident of Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was 90 years old. Sue was born in Arkadelphia to George and Emma Thompson in 1924. She lived in Little Rock the majority of her life where she taught at The Anthony School for twenty-three years as "Miss Sue" and later worked for the State of Arkansas. She is survived by a son, Doug Thompson and wife, Kathy from California; two daughters, Norma Robertson Partridge and husband, Jess of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Juanita Robertson McCracken and husband, Benny of West Yellowstone, Montana; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren as well as another great-grandson to be born in April; two sisters-in-law, Alberta Thompson of Arkadelphia, Helen Thompson of Texarkana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of Park Hill Baptist Church and served on the Independent Living Board in Arkadelphia. She is preceded in death by husbands, Oliver Pockrus, McGee Thompson and Dr. Marvin Robertson; one son, Jerry D. Thompson; eight brothers and sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 19th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Turner officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
