Sammy Claude Shaw passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. He was born September 3, 1939 to the late Ted and Lois (Hunt) Shaw. He is survived by his wife Mari Shaw, of Perryville, Ark.; four sons, Ted (Sharon) of Roland, Ark., Tim (Cindy) of Longmont, Colo., Todd (Christy) of Roland, AR, Tony (Cheryl) of Wye Mt. AR, one sister Jackie "Kit" Garrett of Little Rock, Ark.; mother-in-law, Pat Selle, of Perryville, Ark. and two brothers-in-law, Bob (Barbara) Selle of North Little Rock, Ark., and Altas (Cheri) Smith of Perryville, Ark. He has six grandkids, four great-grandkids, two great-great-grandkids, and numerous niece and nephews. He is preceded in death by one grandson, Taylor Shaw, one granddaughter, Courtney Shaw, and one niece, Lois Lee Garrett. Sammy was a T32nd Degree Mason. He started laying floor when he was 19 years old and retired at 65. He loved the outdoors whether it was playing golf, on the lake, at deer camp or simply riding around in the woods. He loved spending time with family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
