Verda Mae Greene Ewing

Verda Mae Greene Ewing, age 71, of Sherwood, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at St. Vincent North Medical Center. Preceded her in death was her husband, Fred Ewing; two brothers, Charles Greene and Napoleon (Chiggie) Greene Jr. She was a nurse for over 50 years. Survivors are her son, Toren Coley of Los Angeles, Calif.; her daughter, Shakira Armstrong of Jacksonville, Ark.; grandchildren, Shaki Floyd and Serenity Hampton both of Jacksonville, Ark.; a brother, James Greene; four sisters, Helen Pruitt, Mildred Greene, Sylvia R. Greene, and Betty J. Greene. Visitation will be Friday, 6-7 p.m. at Watson-Northcrest Funeral Home, 1801 Maple St., North Little Rock, Ark.
