Charlie Mae Naylor

Charlie Mae Cauthron Naylor, 88, died Thursday, February 20, 2014. She was born July 1, 1925 to the late C.C. and Della Cauthron. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Darden H. Naylor, and her sister Jane Cone and her husband Colonel Ralph Cone. Mrs. Naylor was a retired executive secretary for Holiday Inns, Inc. She was a charter member of Gaines Street and Olivet Baptist churches in Little Rock, Arkansas, and she was currently a long-time member and Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in Conway. She is survived by her step-son, Dr. David L. Naylor (Janie) of Conway; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Tucker of Hot Springs and Mrs. Helen Creed (Gerald), of Ethel, Louisiana; her brother, Dr. James H. Cauthron (Murphy), of Ashdown, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Dr. David L. Naylor Jr. (Cindy), of Conway; and Mrs. Lisa Reed (Chris), of Palo Alto, California; five great grandchildren, Ryan Reed, Paige Reed, Dylan Naylor, Jack Holden Reed, Drake Naylor. Our family is very grateful and thankful for the loving care given by the the entire staff at Heritage Living Center in Conway, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Conway, Arkansas, located at 1719 Robinson St. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Conway.
