LaVerne Neff Curtis
of Little Rock, AR, 1927 - 2014LaVerne Neff Curtis passed away Friday, February 14, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Memphis on September 1, 1927 and was a life-long resident of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Max Curtis; and her parents, Elizabeth Lee Neff and Vernon Clark Neff. She leaves two daughters, Carolyn Curtis Vincent and her husband Stewart Colten of Arlington, Virginia, and Catherine Morgan Coleman, her husband Eric Coleman; and their son Cross; her brother, William Neff, and his wife, Inez; and by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Curtis was a graduate of Whitehaven High School and a former member of Whitehaven Presbyterian Church and the Kennedy Book Club. Family and friends are invited to services at Memorial Park, 5668 Poplar Ave. on Friday, February 21 at 2 p.m., graveside service at 3 p.m. A second memorial will follow at Presbyterian Village in Little Rock, Ark., where Mrs. Curtis lived the last year of her life. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Village Auxiliary or charity of the donor's choice.
