Donald G. Leetch, 88, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, left the confines of this world on February 19, 2014, and joyfully slipped into the arms of Jesus from the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born to Earl and Goldie Leetch in Smithland, Iowa on May 21, 1925, where he spent his early years. He graduated from high school in Neosho, Missouri, and entered Pasadena Nazarene College in California, where he later served as student body president before continuing on to graduate school. Don travelled in evangelistic work for several years where he met Leola Main. They were married in 1952 and together founded Norwalk Church of the Nazarene and later Nazarene Christian Day School. In 1960, Don met a fellow minister, Dean Kerns. From that friendship grew a business and ministry partnership of over 50 years. Together with their wives, they cofounded Outreach Center Church and DaySpring Cards, which they moved from Southern California to Siloam Springs in 1979. Don was an active influence in both the business and church community in Northwest Arkansas. He leaves his wife Leola of 61 years; three children and mates Dona Brokke and husband Dan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, David Leetch and wife Vicki of Siloam Springs, and Deanna Ryan and husband Dan from Chan Mai, Thailand; 10 grandchildren, Danielle Finzel, Drew Brokke, Derek Brokke, Dustin Brokke, Erik Leetch, Renee Johnson, Judah Ryan, Josiah Ryan, Elijah Ryan, Azura Ryan; five great-grandchildren; three nephews; and four nieces. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life service will be 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, with Dan Brokke officiating.
