Allen Elton Winfrey

Allen Elton Winfrey, age 89, died February 23, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a farmer. Preceding him in death are his parents Chester and Katie Winfrey, wife Beulah, brothers, Lyndell and Glendon and a son-in-law, Bill Basham. He is survived by his children, Connie (Leroy) Akridge and Becky Basham; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Imogene Huffman and Geneva Stauber. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 26 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27 at Concord United Methodist Church.
