Sybil F. Crawford

Sybil F. Crawford, widow of Thomas E. "Gene" Crawford, and daughter of the late John Lawrence and Ruby O. Card, died in Dallas, Texas, on February 20, 2014, aged 84 years. She is survived by her sister, Jane E. Card of Dallas. Born in Little Rock October 21, 1929, the deceased had made her home in Dallas since 1969. Prior to retirement she was employed by an international commercial lender. A long-time member of numerous organizations, including Magna Carta Dames and the Roger Williams Family Association, she wrote for several trade magazines, history and gravestone publications. Following cremation, inurnment will take place at Mount Holly Cemetery (for which the deceased authored a sesquicentennial history in 1993).
