Dorothy Lee Phillips

Dorothy Lee Penry Phillips, 85, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born on July 4, 1928 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, to Jack W. Penry and Maggie Williams Penry. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Garlen Phillips. A creative lady of many talents, Dorothy loved to sew, draw, paint, and crafts in general. She was very involved in her church finding joy in the fellowship. Her family meant everything to her. Dorothy is survived by three sons: Andrew Phillips (Paula), Michael Phillips, and Matthew Phillips; two daughters: Pam LeCrone (Len) and Janella Willliams (Ronald); as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Sixteenth Section Union Church on Friday, February 28, 2014. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Amboy Food Pantry or the Humane Society.
