Frank Vincent Greco, age 95, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Craighead Nursing Center. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 18 years coming from Helena, Arkansas. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Sarah Papa Greco; his wife, Lorine Greco; and infant son, Sam Lambert Greco. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and gardening and loved his dogs. Frank flew airplanes from the age of 16. Frank was a proud veteran who fought for his country in World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Aleutian Islands. Survivors include his daughters; Frankie Chadwick of North Little Rock, Mickey (Guinn) Cantrell of Bella Vista, Vickey (Mike) Mullally of Jonesboro. Grandchildren include Jennifer Vincent, David Cantrell, Jonathan Cantrell, Sara Mullally, and Leigh Anne Fortner. Great-grandchildren are Luke Dial, Garrett Vincent, Emma Vincent, and Grady Cantrell. Visitation was held Saturday, December 28, 2013, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery with Kathy Holler officiating. Pallbearers include Jerry Campbell, Jim Campbell, Jerry Young, Jonathan Cantrell, James Fortner and Brian Broussard. Honorary Pallbearers include the Staff of St. Bernards Village Center and the Staff of Craighead Nursing Center and Michael Vincent and David Cantrell.
