Jana Renee Dicus Spellman

Jana Renee Dicus Spellman, 51, of Southhaven, Mississippi, passed away December 24, 2013 after a long illness. She is survived by her mother, Janice Smith Dicus of Little Rock; son, Justin Spellman (Heather); sister, Jennifer Krisell (Greg); and brother, Butch Dicus (Lisa). She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Dicus and grandparents, Lonnie and Audrey Dicus, Genevieve McJunkin Davis and Joe Neal Smith. Born in Little Rock on June 12, 1962, she graduated from Wilbur Mills High School at age 16. She received her nursing degree from UALR, worked at UAMS for several years, then worked in Memphis until her retirement due to illness. She was a member of DeSoto Hill Baptist Church in Southhaven, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4 at 1 p.m.
