Clinton, AR, 1911 - 2014

Mr. Pierre E. Chambers 102, of Clinton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 1, 2014. He was born September 30, 1911 in Edinburg, Indiana to Louis O. and Mary Ethel (Swift) Chambers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis O. and Mary E. (Swift) Chambers, step-mother, Minnie Harrod, wife, Norma J. Saunders. He is survived by his daughter, Mary E. Porter of Clinton, Ark.; grand-daughter, Barbara Porter and husband Randy of Shirley, Ark.; grandson, Mike Porter of Sheridan, Ark.; grandson, Martin Porter and wife Lisa of Rogers, Ark.; grandson, Mark Porter of Clinton, Ark.; fourteen great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren, step-sister, Doris Z. Chambers of Newcastle, Ind.; and step-brother, Don Chambers of Newcastle, Ind.; and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Mickey Parish, Doug Davidson, Mike Snowden, Ron Spankuck, Jeff Hall, and Wilburn Weaver. Honorary Pallbearers: David Clark, and Manuel Bixler. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Saturday, January 4, 2014 at First Baptist Church Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Faron Grayson Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery Edgemont, Arkansas.
