George Lee Rawson

George Lee Rawson, age 81, of Houston, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2013. He was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Lilbourn, Mo., a son of George H. Rawson and Mary Sanders Rawson. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Hill Rawson; son, Kelly Rawson; and sister, Marie DeVille. Survivors include his daughters, Wanda Curry (Neil) of Little Rock, and Pat Connally (Dale) of Midland, Texas; sister, Faye Hampton of Lapeer, Mich.; grandchildren, Michael Connally (Jenny), Christopher Connally, Jim Curry, and Daniel Curry; great-grandchildren, Cayden Connally and Cassidy Connally. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Harris Chapel with burial at May Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
