Odesal Byrd

Odesal Byrd, age 75, of Leola, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Hot Spring Medical Center in Malvern. She was born March 9, 1938 in Rison, Arkansas to the late Sydney and Vernia Sparks Reed. On February 26, 1982 she married Cletus Byrd in Leola. They attended Joy Baptist Church in Leola. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall and Ronald Reed; two sisters, Marthey West and Irene Say. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Cletus Byrd of Leola; two sisters, Wanda Justice of Grapevine and Mary Jones of Lewisville, Texas; three brothers, Steve Reed of Grapevine, Leonard Reed of Leola, and Tony Reed of Judsonia. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home with Mike Kilcrease officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery near Grapevine.
