Ruth Arlene Douglas

Ruth Arlene Taylor Douglas 88, of Little Rock passed on January 2, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruth Taylor; brother, Earnest Huddleston Taylor; husband, Lawrence Ford Douglas, Sr.; and two daughters, Sherry Hudson and Josephine Overton. She's survived by seven children: Roy Katheryn Watts, Lanita Irene Douglas, Lawrence F. Douglas Jr. (Doris), Roger Douglas (Margaret), Henry Douglas (Debbie), Maurice Douglas (Stephanie) and Sean Douglas (Peggy); nineteen grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two nieces. Rosary service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014, 6 pm, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St. LR (501) 372-1305. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, 2014, 10 a.m., at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 1622 Marshall St. Little Rock. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery.
