Dale Wilson Castellaw, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, January 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Cole Castellaw; her parents, C.L. and Laudie Ann Wilson; and her sister, Bobbie Wilson Pugh. Survivors are her sisters-in-law, Beneva Farris of Conway, Arkansas, and Betty Christal of Dallas, Texas; brother-in-law, Boyd Pugh of Mannford, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces and nephews including B. Michael Pugh of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Douglas L. Pugh of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; William J. Farris, Jr. and Cole M. Farris of Conway, Arkansas; James E. Castellaw of Dallas, Texas; Charlott N. Oliver of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Donna M. Rader of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Arenda G. Yancey of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Susan DeBoard of Conway, Arkansas; Kay C. Potter of Dallas, Texas; plus numerous great-nieces and nephews. Dale was a graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College, now the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). She received her BSE and MSE degrees from UCA and also did post graduate work at the University of Arkansas. After graduation, Dale taught in the Arkansas Public School system for 36 years – first as a teacher and then later as the principal at Parham Elementary School in Little Rock. Dale was a devout Christian and an avid Bible student. After retirement, she also enjoyed many years of world travel. When she wasn't traveling, she spent her time with family and enjoyed watching sports on television. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Private interment will be later with the Reverend Don Chandler officiating.
