Therlo Marbley Sr., of Sweet Home was ushered from labor to reward in his 88th season on January 5, 2014. He was born November 20, 1925 in Sweet Home. He was the son of Roy Marbley and Rosie Weaver. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at a very young age. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Sweet Home where he faithfully served as Superintendent, Trustee, and Senior Deacon. He was a former employee of Corps of Engineer and Enterprise Rental Cars. He proudly served his country in World War II. Therlo was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and two sons: Therlo Jr and Paul Stan Marbley. He leaves an abundance of love and memories to his devoted and loyal wife of 66 years, Margaret, son, Mark Finis Marbley of Sweet Home, daughters: Delorise Ann (Willie) Sims of Las Vegas, Nevada, Beverly Kay(Elder Franklin) Vanderbilt, and Clora Lee Williams both of Little Rock. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Sisters: Marian Pettigrew of Little Rock, and Ruth Robinson of Los Angeles, California. The final celebration and tribute to his life will be shared at (12:30 p.m.) on (January 11, 2014) at First Baptist Church, Sweet Home. Pastor Sedrick Cross will officiate. The interment will be in Rest in Peace in Hensley, Arkansas. Family visitation will be held on January 10 from 6-7 p.m. at Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S.
