David Pruss Sr.

David Pruss Sr. of Cabot, Ark., was born Oct. 2, 1940 in Marche, Ark. He died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. at the age of 73. He was retired from Anheuser Busch and while retired was an honorary employee at M&M Motorcycle's in El Paso, Ark. He had an infectious sense of humor and never met a stranger but a friend for life. He was loved by all and you never left without a smile and laughter. His fun and friendly personality was contagious. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Felix Pruss; his daughter, Susan Pruss; and his grandsons, David Jackson and Hutch Jackson. Survivors include his children, David Pruss Jr. of Marche, Carolyn Pruss of Cabot, Teresa Benton of Cabot, Michael Pruss of Jacksonville, Kimberly Brown of Sherwood, Jason Pruss of Cabot and Stephan Pruss of Lonoke. His grandchildren, Bradley Pruss, Brent Pruss, Morgan Pruss, Codi Jackson, Dray Benton, Victoria Benton, Bailey Pruss, Travis Wisdom, Madison Brown, Jacob Brown. His great-grandchildren, Trayden Wisdom, Blaze Montgomery, and numerous relatives. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home 1504 JP Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. following visitation at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. A reception will follow the service at 175 White Lane, Cabot, Ark.
