JONATHAN EUDY Champion of Truth, Laughter & Love Jonathan (Jon) Eudy, 65, beloved father, husband, coworker and friend passed over on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. Jonathan was a deeply spiritual man and exemplary father who remained loyal to friends and family and always strove to act to the highest of his knowing. As Vice President of Aristotle Incorporated's Interactive Division, Jon shared his enthusiasm for online marketing and passion for website creativity with a variety of companies, including banks, hospitals, manufacturers, retailers and non-profits. Jonathan had an even greater passion for the travel industry and took on major destination marketing projects from Huntington Beach, Calif., to Long Island, N.Y. His greatest pride of all was his work for his home state and for Arkansas.com and ArkansasStateParks.com. Jonathan traveled Arkansas for over a decade, and he cared deeply for his adopted state. Jonathan brought humor and passion for technology and gadgetry to his work, as evidenced by his email footer, "If you're not on the edge, you are taking up to much space…" He loved a joke and made his co-workers, clients, friends and family laugh each day. He became a beloved figure in the Arkansas Parks and Tourism community, sharing his deep knowledge and humor with everyone with whom he came into contact. He was a loving and caring man whose impact on the success of tourism in Arkansas will continue even in his absence. Jonathan grew up singing in choirs and ensembles, and his clear, lilting tenor lifted the mood of any song. He was also a favorite week-end golf buddy who could be counted on to "take a mulligan" on way too many holes. Jonathan was born on July 20, 1948, in Stephenville, Texas, the son of the late Mike Eudy, and Fern Eudy Wooten (Marvin) of Odessa, Texas. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth; and his two sons, Shawn Paul Eudy, 42 of Austin, Texas and Lane Vaughn Eudy, 9 of Little Rock; as well as by his step-daughter, Corinna Patricia Hall of Hot Springs, Ark.; brothers, Ed Eudy of Asheville, N.C., Chuck Eudy of Odessa, Texas, and Sidney Eudy of Maine; as well as by his extended family and friends in Little Rock and around the globe. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at Unity Church of Little Rock, 2610 Reservoir Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72227 The family asks that donations be given in lieu of flowers to the W.D. Bowles Foundation at 1323 Broadway, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. Love you long time, Jonny. Please send your messages of love, comfort and support to Jon's online guest registry at www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
