Joseph Willard Halpain, 90, of Malvern, born April 12, 1923, passed away on January 12, 2014. He was of Baptist affliation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virgie Halpain; sisters, Viola Carter and Ima Jewell Payne; brothers, George E. Halpain, William Newton Halpain, and Charles Hoyt Halpain.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Belle Langley Halpain. Joe and Mary were married 60 years. They resided in Gifford Community and Malvern since January 1961. He is also survived by his children, Randall (Judy) Halpain, Gary (Mary Rose) Halpain, and Evonna (Rex) Lynn; grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer) Halpain, Moriah Halpain, Jennifer (Carlos) Orellana, Jevon (Brett) Watts, Dr. Taylor (Tresa) Erwin; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Jayden Halpain, Anaise and Aurora Orellana, Layla Erwin, and Langley Watts; siblings, Eugene (Ardlie) Halpain, Don Halpain, Trubie Medlin, Earlene (Sonny) Baker, Lueva Langley, Maxine Edwards, Carolyn (Carl) Black, Peggy (Danny) Perryman and Ruth (R.M.) Hancock.
